Agriculture/Farming Litigation
Jones and Dyer regularly assists growers,
brokers, and agricultural suppliers in agricultural litigation and administrative procedures. We have represented matters dealing with hazardous materials spills, environmental remediations, and litigation caused by contamination from pesticides and hazardous materials. We also assist in developing environmental defenses in alleged Endangered Species Act violations and zoning issues relating to agricultural land use, boundary disputes and all other agriculture related litigation matters.

- Successfully defended agricultural landlord in alleged fraud in connection with leased alfalfa fields.
- Successfully represented rice mill in dispute regarding rice production and brokerage fee agreement.

- Successfully represented rice mill regarding dispute over futures contracts.
- Represented agricultural broker in dispute involving alleged trade secret violations, customer lists, and rice brokerage commissions.
